Matadors remain unbeaten in soccer

The Matadors scored the last four goals, including the game winner by Abdel Beccerra, in a 4-1 road conference win over Mesa on Wednesday.

"It wasn't very good soccer, but it was a good win," coach Kenny Dale said. "For a game at this leave, it's not the idea facility, and I knew we would struggle."

Beccerra had his second game-winning goal for the Matadors (2-0, 2-0 ACCAC). His goal came in the 32nd minute, two minutes after Jose Saucedo scored his first collegiate goal. Vinny Muscarella added two late goals.
