Want to vote for a real politician

In a little more than two months there will be an election for any number of offices local and state and federal, including for president (yawn). This has gone on too long and has become a farce, a badly written play.
 
What we have left is two men of supposed character and vision but neither one will get anything done in the next four years.
 
I don't know about anyone else but I would love to vote again for a politician, even a crooked one, someone who can get things done. Someone who knows how to balance the political forces in this country and make them speak with one voice.
 
Can Barack Obama or John McCain do this? Give me a break and wake me up on Nov. 5, when the next election starts.
