2 in custody over computer theft at high school
Comments 0 | Recommend 0 Two Yuma men are in custody after a weekend burglary at Yuma Catholic High School in which $35,000 worth of Dell laptop computers were stolen.
During their investigation, Yuma police identified Frank Reyes, III, 41, as a suspect. He was later arrested at his home, where police say they found evidence from the burglary, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Reyes was booked into the Yuma County jail on suspicion of burglary and possession of a narcotic drug.
Also as part of their investigation, police identified Kenneth Glenn Seaman, 35, who had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest, as a suspect.
Several of the stolen computers were found in Seaman's home, as well a usable quantity of methamphetamine, according to police.
Seaman was arrested and booked into the Yuma County jail on the warrant and on suspicion possession of dangerous drugs and trafficking in stolen property.
The burglary at Yuma Catholic, 2100 W. 28th St., occurred Sunday.
Police are still looking for several of the stolen laptops and are offering a reward for information leading to their recovery. Those models include Dell Inspiron 6000s, 6400s and 1525s.
