Snap Fitness is now open in the Foothills at 11270 S. Fortuna Road, Suite C4, in the Pioneer Shopping Center (next door to Da Boyz Pizza), announced franchise owner Josh Schaubach.
It's the same concept as the Snap Fitness club in Las Palmillas, except with 3,400 square feet, it's a little bigger. Members receive a card that admits them to the club anytime they're ready for a workout. That card gives them access to both Yuma-area locations as well as the thousand clubs around the United States and Canada - with 40 to 80 more opening each month.
Both clubs also now have virtual reality bikes so bicycle riders can get in their ride even in the heat of the summer. Riders can choose from 50 different courses and even some competition to keep the workout interesting, Schaubach said.
For more information about the Foothills club, call 345-6500.
Schaubach said he is still working on opening a third club in Yuma Valley but hasn't settled on a location yet.
